Western Growers Foundation
A contribution of $1,500 will provide sufficient funds to start a fruit and vegetable garden at one school. Western Growers Charitable Foundation will accept contributions in any amount for our school garden program, and thank you in advance all donors who generously contribute to this cause.

Western Growers Charitable Foundation will also accept contributions of materials that can be used for school gardens. Equipment, irrigation and fencing are all examples of the kinds of materials that are needed by schools participating in our program.

California Fertilizer Foundation
Formed in 1999, the California Fertilizer Foundation's (CFF) mission is to enhance the awareness and understanding of plant nutrients and agriculture in California. In support of its mission, it annually awards 24 California Schools $1000 grants for their school gardens. CFF's efforts go much further than providing school garden funding. It supports a variety of other efforts including developing educational materials and the establishment of garden-based education networks in their communities. CFF will also accept contributions of materials that can be used for school gardens including educational resources, vouchers for free compost, potting soil, irrigation equipment and plants.
